About Us

Theorizing that one could print cute stuff and make people smile...

Matt stepped into the 3d printer world.

...

And vanished.

He awoke to find himself trapped in the dystopian nightmare of 2025. Facing violent images that were not his own. And driven by an unknown force to change expressions for the better.

His only partner on this journey is Amber—a helper from his own time, who appears in the form of a friend to lean on, which everyone can see, and hear...

Al's handlink from Quantum Leap

And so Matt finds himself leaping from print to print... and hoping each time... that his next print, will make someone smile.

The Journey

By day, Matt's a Microsoft SQL Server database developer working remotely from Phoenix, Arizona. By night (and weekends, and honestly whenever possible), he's experimenting with 3D printing and turning wild ideas into tangible objects.

It all started in his early 20s when Matt learned to weld. There was something magical about joining metal, creating something permanent from molten fire. That hands-on creation bug never left him.

Then Matt discovered the Bambu Lab H2S. Game changer. Suddenly, 3D printing wasn't a constant battle with bed adhesion and failed prints. It just... worked. Reliably. Beautifully. With colors that actually looked good. He was so impressed he bought four more—the H2D printers. Because apparently when you find something that works, you don't buy one, you buy five.

The Failed Attempts

2014: Matt tried 3D printing for the first time. Failed. Horribly. The technology just wasn't there yet, and neither was his patience.

2020 (COVID): Tried again during lockdown. Better, but still not quite ready. The prints were decent, but the reliability was frustrating.

Full Transparency

We use AI. A lot of it. For photo-to-3D conversion, for design assistance, even for parts of this website. We're not going to pretend otherwise.

But here's the thing: AI is a tool, not a replacement. Every 3D model gets human review. Every print gets inspected. Every order gets personal attention. The AI helps us work faster and smarter—the human touch ensures it actually looks good.

It's just Amber and Matt against the world, with a whole lot of algorithmic assistance.

We Want Your Feedback

Matt spent years taking constructive criticism from tech business leaders. Amber handles customer communication daily. We can handle yours. Got suggestions? See something we could do better? Have an idea we haven't thought of?

Seriously. We're always improving, and customer feedback is how we get better.
